We want to continue to expand our regional market presence in Italy and to strengthen our expert B2B regional sales team, we are looking for a self-employed sales agent (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible. In your function as a local sales expert, you will work for IDEAL INDUSTRIES as a field sales representative and be responsible for the acquisition and expansion of Electrical & Data Tool distributors.


  • Achieve set revenue targets in defined geographical area through value-added sales of our market leading products and solutions
  • Consulting and negotiations on positioning, quantities, prices & conditions
  • Close cooperation with our IDEAL operations and internal sales team
  • Participation in trade fairs
  • Develop existing and new relationships with branches of strategic distributors (as defined).
  • Support the execution of pre-defined targeted product marketing campaigns into the electrical distribution channel.
  • New product introductions.
  • Deliver prescribed campaign presentations as defined by active marketing programmes.
  • Deliver product and application training to distributor branch staff.
  • Increase end-user awareness through the use of pre-defined well executed branch promotions, trade counter events/breakfast mornings and placement of dedicated “Point of Sale” materials.
  • Continually build rapport and relationships with strategic distributors.
  • Provide feedback on market requirements, competitor activity and pricing to ideal management.


Your profile

  • As a "hunter" you think in terms of long-term customer relationships and use every customer contact to generate profitable business
  • You already have a high-quality Electrical Distribution network in a specific (metropolitan) region that fit to IDEAL’s strategic aims.
  • Proven success in B2B sales with at least one other active representation in one of the previously mentioned industries
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the Electrical & Data industry.
  • Independent and structured way of working, a confident attitude as well as strong communication skills.
